Have you been thinking about learning to play a musical instrument? Are you held back by worries about making the commitment before you know how it all works?
Well, worry no longer! We understand the uncertainties that can pop up in connection to such an undertaking. And we want to help out.
So, we are offering an opportunity to get a taste of the music lesson experiece at absolutley no cost to you. Well, okay, you do have to fund the cost of getting to where we are. But that's not such a big obstacle, is it?
We are offering these trial lessons in piano, guitar, bass, voice, drums, banjo, mandolin, flute... the list goes on. Whether your dream is to be a big singing star or simply to pick a few quiet summer evening tunes on a mandolin, you can make your first step at Music Place. And you might be surprised at where that first step will lead you.
Playing a musical instrument is wonderful... Music lessons are fun... And you now have the chance to find out for yourself just how much fun it can be.
This is a one time lesson, no fees, no sly tricks, no commitments past showing up for that one lesson. We supply all the materials and instruments. Except for singers of course; you do have to bring your own vocal chords!! The rest of you, just show up and we'll look after you.

Teacher Spotlight
Alex Greig
Alex Greig, one of our guitar teachers, has been teaching at Music Place since September, 2010. He was born in Thunder Bay, attended high school at Hillcrest/Superior, and has played in several bands, including jazz and string ensembles.
Alex has been playing music for the past eight years. His enthusiasm shows in his inability to stay away from the guitars any time he is in the showroom! Play on, Alex!
In addition to teaching at Music Place, he is attending Lakehead University where he's studying for a Bachelor of Music, guitar major. We wish him well.
It is a great pleasure to have Alex as part of our team.
