Make Music for Life !

Guitars

Buying a guitar is always an exciting experience! Whether you're buying a $99 Oscar Schmidt to get started on your music or a $5,500 Breedlove to reward yourself for all those years of waiting, the thrill is the same. When you walk into the music store and see all those beautiful guitars, you just can't help yourself... you want every one of them! But don't worry, you're in good company. All guitar players want every pretty guitar they see!

And that's why we're here... to help you sort through the glitter! But to steer you in the right direction, we need honest information from you on two subjects: your musical goals and your budget. If you can give us that, we can help you pick out the right guitar.

We know guitars, we know guitar players, and we know guitar players' budgets (they're never quite big enough!) So buying the right guitar is a delicate balance between getting an instrument good enough to make your music sound nice and priced low enough to cost only the money you had set aside when you walked into the store! We're really good at helping you with that. We have guitars in every price range and we know enough about guitars to help you make the right choice.

And there's one really valuable bonus when you buy your guitar at Music Place: you'll never be stuck with something that's not working for you. If there's something wrong with the guitar's construction, we'll fix it or we'll replace it. Even if you change your mind and decide you should have gotten something better in the first place, we'll give you a 100% trade on an upgrade within six months of your initial purchase. (Two conditions attached to that promise: your trade has to be in the same condition as when you bought it and you have to upgrade to a model at least twice the value of your trade.) And of course we'll always give you a great trade allowance when you're ready to move up to a really nice guitar. We'll tell you all about that when you come in to see us.

In our store you'll find acoustic guitars, electric guitars, resonator guitars, acoustic and electric bass guitars, mandolins, banjos... the list is long. Our store is set up primarily to provide products suitable for home-based family musicians, hobbyists, and music students. These are the folks we are most interested in serving because it is our mission to encourage people who are not already making music to get involved and discover the joy it brings.

But if you're already an accomplished musician, you're still welcome to drop by. We have access to gear designed for stage use and we'll certainly do our best to get you a great price if you see something you like. Come on in and pay us a visit - we'll be glad to see you.
